  1878 Morgan Dollar. 8 tail feathers. MS-65. An original and pleasingly toned Morgan dollar. Some stray abrasions are almost invisible beneath the deep colors. The leaf cluster inside ON of ONE is flatly struck. The toning is a thoroughly set golden gray with the entire right obverse blushing in a lovely medium iridescent blue. Ex Walter H. Seems to be an edge ding at 3 o'clock obverse, but the plastic obscures this almost completely. For a 78-CC, we find this one very pleasing.
