Lot 801
1891-O Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. AU-58. A rare date in any grade, especially nearly mint state. The fields are prooflike and have a scattering of hairlines. There is one small tick mark on Liberty, on one of her lower right ribs. New Orleans pumped out only 68,000 this year and quarter demand finally rose from the prior decades dismal numbers. Still a very rare coin, and seldom found this nice. Original light gray in color and well struck.
