Dale Evans - Original Comic Book Art Signed Twice. Original art for a comic book titled "Dale Evans and Danger in Crooked Canyon," signed and inscribed, "To Ed & Jo God bless your trail! Dale Evans Rogers" in the border above the artwork, 13½x20" plus borders, and on the title page of the comic book (framed to show on the back of the artwork), "God bless you, Dale Evans." Gouache and acrylic on artist board; created for Whitman Publishing Company and signed by artist Al Andersen, the art was due on 5-26-58. The vividly-colored scene shows Dale Evans as a prisoner in an Indian hogan, her hands bound behind her; a young Indian boy reacts in fright as an elderly woman enters. Fine condition; framed to an overall size of 24x31".

One-of-a-kind, pen-and-ink comic strip signed by Carl Barks, the man who created Scrooge McDuck and who drew the adventures of Donald Duck and his family during the 1940s. 50s, and 60s. This strip, dated 1960, is 6½x21"; it has been matted and framed to an overall size of 16x30½" Frustrated in his attempts to get his golf ball into the hole, Donald resorts to using his club as a pool cue. The "Donald Duck" comic strip was produced by Walt Disney Productions and published from 1959 to 1988 in various newspapers around the country. This original pen-and-ink comic strip remained in the Walt Disney Art Archives until 2000, when it was made available for sale. Fine condition.

The sketch has only minor soiling. An accompanying letter (in poor condition) on "Toonerville Electric Railroad Company" letterhead is dated 30 Sept. 1944. With Original Panel from the comic strip "Rivets" Signed "Sixta" in the panel and Inscribed and Signed, "To Bruce Newton -- with Best Wishes -- George Sixta," 5¾" x 17½". The panel is dated 8-23, 1954. Very good; one fold. Also with an Original Ink Sketch Signed "Blossom," 5" x 3"; fine except for crease at lower left corner. Bruce Newton was an early Chicago television personality and puppeteer.

Number 128 of 350., issued in 1986 by The Walt Disney Company, 11" x 145", attractively matted and framed to an overall size of 17" x 21". Seal at lower right says, "Original hand-painted movie film cel / The Walt Disney Company Certified." The scene shows Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and Brer Bear from Sequence 3, Scene 31 ("The Lauglin' Place"). Information on verso states that the original cels are no longer available and "the Studio has recreated the artwork using special techniques" whch are described, and that the background scenes "have been faithfully reproduced by a Disney background artist…" Excellent condition. Ready for display.

"The Simpsons" Original Art. Eight original drawings on 10½x12½" lay-out paper, actually used on the animated sitcom that debuted on December 17, 1989, and has aired 380 episodes in eighteen seasons. Five pages are of Homer Simpson, two of Marge Simpson, and one of Maggie. All but one is slotted at the bottom. The characters were created by Matt Groening. "The Simpsons" is one of the most successful television shows ever produced.
