In order to understand the grade further, notice that the coin is struck with care only now and then found, when it comes to the usual softness at the centers, this piece, on the contrary, received a full blow by the dies.

Sheer boldness of strike throughout would be the ideal for any Morgan dollar, and this coin meets the challenge to strike completely; the design left by the rebound of the dies is in an excellent state at the centers as well as the legends and date.
