1787 Connecticut Miller 33.39-s.1 Rarity-4 VF20. Draped bust left. Very slightly sharper but there is a thin planchet fissure at the bottom of the bust and traces of tape or glue on the reverse. No corrosion or verdigris, and the only other mark is a thin hairline scratch in the field before the tip of the nose. Glossy olive brown and chocolate. Late die state with strong die cracks at the top of the reverse. Weight 138.6 grains.

1787 Connecticut Miller 37.12-LL Rarity-6+ VG10. Draped bust left with ETIIB reverse. Rather glossy steel brown with chocolate brown toning in the protected areas, the two-tone look helping accent the details. There is microscopic roughness under the patina, but no verdigris or contact marks. A small but relatively deep planchet void at the base of the seated figure is the only notable mark, as struck. The date is weak but easily readable and the legends are clear. The ETIIB error is strong. Weight 151.3 grains.

1787 Connecticut Miller 32.5-aa Rarity-4 F15. Draped bust left. FNDE error. Clipped Planchet. Sharper by at least 5 points with a shallow planchet lamination at the top of the head and a shallow planchet fissure in the hair right of the ear. The planchet is covered with extremely faint granularity that's effectively hidden under a rather glossy olive and chocolate brown patina. Traces of crud show in protected areas, but overall the eye appeall of this example is excellent for the grade. The FNDE error is bold, as are the date and legends. A curved planchet clip shows on the right side, but it does not reach the legends. Weight 147.9 grains.

1788 Connecticut Miller 2-D Rarity-1 VF25. Mailed bust right. Partial Brockage on Reverse. Sharpness EF40 with uniform microscopic granularity covering the planchet. No verdigris, planchet flaws, or contact marks. Dark reddish steel brown. There is a small planchet clip affecting the rim above the back of the head. In addition, the left half of the reverse has a strong incuse brockage impression from the obverse of a previously struck example that was still in the press when this one was struck. An impressive striking error. MDS with the cud break at the shoulder just starting to form. Weight 107.5 grains.

Otherwise free of marks. A small planchet clip at the top of the reverse does not reach the legends or devices on either side. Late die state with a strong bisecting die crack slanting across the reverse. Weight 132.3 grains.
