(1672-94) London Elephant Halfpenny. Thick planchet. . Breen 186 EF-40. Type with a thick planchet and no diagonals inside the cross. Five points sharper with a rim bruise at the elephant's head. Otherwise this piece is choice and offers outstanding eye appeal foir the grade. Glossy medium brown with frosty lighter brown toning in protected areas. Weight 229.1 grains.

1760 Voce Populi Halfpenny. . Nelson-3 Rarity-3+ F12. The "VOOE" variety. Sharpness EF40 but lightly corroded and slightly bent. There are traces of verdigris on both sides and a thin gash through the bust tip and R in HIBERNIA. Glossy dark olive brown with chocolate highpoints. The "VOOE" feature is clear.
