On the reverse, there is a berry left of D in DOLLAR. Lustrous with the usual light hairlines and only minor wear on the highest points of the hair and coronet. Pop 4; 8 finer. (PCGS # 10786) .

A handsome $1 denomination uses the regular Nouizillet head of Liberty with its careful design and sharp execution, above the date the large G for Robert B. Gray. The reverse has a unique look to the ribbon bow which has overlapping bows. Available in lower grades, but much scarcer in this choice condition. Pop 23; 17 finer. (PCGS # 10920) .

1872 Dollar Round. Indian Head. . BG-1207. Rarity 4. PCGS graded AU-58. Lustrous. A very attractive example of the round Indian head style, and of the scarce One Dollar denomination. The later round dollars with large Indian heads are by unknown makers, possibly Herman J. Brand. BG-1207 has a close date and uses the same reverse as BG-1206, with its distinctive "spur" on the top of the C in CALIFORNIA. Pop 11; 56 finer. (PCGS # 10952) .
