Obv: an incuse oval punch of a federal eagle with legend around "Mint of the United States at San Francisco" with serial number "1426 999.75 FINE." below; rev: "5.49 OZS". Choice About Uncirculated in a custom made lucite holder. Impressive.

Large 1956 San Francisco Mint Silver Ingot. Aprox. 91mm X 60mm. On the obverse, a round incuse punch with heraldic eagle and "U.S. Mint 1956 San Francisco" and below the serial number "771" and "24.3 OZS 999.75 FINE". The reverse is plain, but there is an additional number 249 punched into the top edge. This interesting 50 year old ingot is Extremely Fine or better.
