Lot 1918
1903 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66. Totally brilliant and white. A luminous gem of optimum quality for the grade: The "all brilliant" finish is unbeatable, as well, and the strike is nearly full, being quite crisp in all places with resulting detail in the hair and throughout the eagle. A scarce coin in such superlative condition. Pop 32; 25 better. (PCGS # 7338) .
Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500.

Lot 1919
1904 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 65. A nice fully white gem. A beautiful silver-bright coin with no objectionable marks or blemishes, this is from "all brilliant" dies which left the main devices glowing in stead of matte-frosted. Devices were struck with the usual energy required to impart the bold design to the outer areas as well as enough vigor by the dies to impart clear-cut centers to Morgan's liberty head as well as his eagle. It won't be difficult to pass the word around to bidders that this is an honest Gem Proof, solidly in the 65 class and therefore deserving a "home" in an established Morgan Dollar Proof collection. Only 650 proofs issued. Pop 31; 54 finer.
Estimated Value $4,000 - 4,500.

Lot 1920
1904-O Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65 Deep Mirror Prooflike. Old green holder. Nice untoned Dollar. A riveting deeply prooflike example of this always-popular Type. This sparkling example is untoned and very well preserved, a solid Gem. Even the finest, most delicate detail is seen on this coin struck with uncommon exactness for the issue; were it only possibly for all the design to be as sharp as the lettering and outer areas. Any softness is centered on the hair at above the ear. Pop 103; 16 in 66 DMPL; 1 in 67 DMPL. (PCGS # 97293) .
Estimated Value $600 - 700.

Lot 1921
1921 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 65. Totally white. One tiny nick at the nose and a few light marks on the cheek, and that is all. A blazing brilliant silvery gem Proof with highly concentrated luster on the devices surrounded by almost ostentatious mirror eye appeal. Don't mind the two or three tiny marks as these are typically seen for this Proof 1921 issue and have been taken into consideration by the grading service. Pop 1; 3 better. (PCGS # 7342) .
Estimated Value $50,000 - 60,000.

Lot 1922
1921 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-65 Deep Prooflike. A nice white coin. The usual dancing cartwheel luster has an agreeable change of pace to dancing mirror finish on this handsome 1921, and deep mirror for that matter, with offsetting satiny, matte-like devices providing the contrast. Especially bold strike. Pop 8; none finer at NGC. PCGS has graded only 1 in MS-65 DMPL.
Estimated Value $4,000 - 5,000.
