Ashley Goldberg. Angel Dust. 12"x12" Abstract painting, acrylic on canvas with gold leaf and metallic powder and black mica flake. An angelic figure whose sheen is visible in the dark is discernible at left. Signed in lower left corner with the year, "04". The aspiring young artist lives in Los Angeles and studied at Brentwood Art School in Brentwood, California. She enjoys abstract painting because people can determine their own impressions and meanings. Her works can be found in the T. Bass and J. Morris collections in Texas. Ashley is the sister of Jason Goldberg, co-producer with Ashton Kutcher of TV reality shows ("Punk'd" and "Beauty and the Geek").

Two are from Hanna Barbera: "Fred Flintstone" and Wonder Woman in "Super Heros"; two are from Duck Soup: characters from "McDonald's." Each is matted to 14"x18" and comes with a certificate of authenticity from International Animated Film Society.

Cantoni, L. Circa 1950's-1970's. Sculptural Allegory in Silver. Sculpted tree with gnarled, twisted trunk, supporting an exuberant growth of young leaves and blossoms -- a vivid statement about youth and age. Height: 9". A wonderfully decorative piece, and in fine condition.

Seth Thomas "Adamantine" Mantel Clock. United States, c. 1897. The wood-framed clock in architectural case, with single half pillars at either side, and gilt metal fittings. The gold-flecked veneer either a toned "marble" or a richly textured burl. The ornate gilt face with three slots for winding or adjusting the movement (with hour and half-hour chime). Back access panel a later, yet old replacement. Date of 1897 stamped on bottom of cabinet. Appears to be in working order, although winding keys missing. Size: 11-1/4" x 11-1/2".

Vintage Balance Beam Scale. Large and attractive, with brass finish, the columnar balance with broad molded and pedestaled foot, and yoke-like cross beam to hold the pans. Well maintained, with bright finish, and fully workable. Height: 26-3/4".
