Tiny diagnostic die cut in left obverse field and paired berries under F on reverse. Well struck for the type and with very attractive color in shades of light gray, steel blue and pale russet. A most pleasing specimen and perfect for a type set of coins in similar grade (PCGS # 6852) .

This is a very handsome specimen, nicely struck with attractive light gray tone. On this variety, each of the six vertical bars in the shield are made of five stripes each, rather than four on other reverse dies. Pop 5 in this grade of a total of 26 graded. There are additionally 6 in EF-45, 3 in AU-50, 1 in AU-53 and a single Mint State coin as MS-61 (PCGS # 6874) .
