Aldrin, Buzz. Apollo 11 astronaut; 2nd man to walk on the moon. The July 25, 1969 issue of the San Francisco Chronicle Signed under a giant headline, "The Great Day," and just above the lead story, "Apollo Triumph. The Voyage to the Moon Ends Safely." A large picture of Neil Armstrong takes up the rest of the front page. Very good.

(Cunningham, Walter). Large Medallion presented to Walter Cunningham, who flew on the first manned Apollo Mission. Engraved: "Presented to Mr. Walter Cunningham - Lunar Module Pilot - Apollo 7 Spacecraft - Launched 11 Oct. 68 Recovered 21 Oct '68…." The other side reads: "…Official Charter Member Heavyweight Neckset Award for Contyinuous Communications. NASA Certified." 3 in. diameter with chain. From Cunningham's personal collection. Unique and harder to find than photos or letters.

Space Lot. Seven first-day covers, postmarked 1931, 1961 (2), 1962 (2), 1963, and 1965, including one each signed by Walter M. Schirra, Jr., Scott Carpenter, and Gordon Cooper. Six have cachets, including Enos the chimpanzee who orbited Earth twice. Also, a NASA patch and two Blue Angels patches, all three colorful. (10 items).
