Starring Laurel and Hardy, with Dennis King. Painted and signed in lower left by R.J. Rogers. Back in the day, some of the more lucrative movie houses would, instead of receiving the studio's posters, have artists come in and do a one-off. An added feature to this lot is the presence of another painting on the verso. John Barrymore in Reunion in Vienna, also painted by Rogers. Despite the fact that the poster exhibits some heavy creases and tears along the left edge and upper corner, the piece still displays tremendous intensity of color. Very Good.
