1909, 4¢ orange brown, bluish paper, . Scott 360. Wonderfully fresh, original gum, bright color, Fine 75, signed "Sa" in pencil (Spencer Anderson) and with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.

This bluish paper value along with the eight cent are two of the greatest rarities of twentieth century U.S. philately. Neither value was intended for public distribution and there was only one sheet of 100 each of the two denominations printed. It is generally believed that approximately 90 of each value survives today with the eight cent being a very few examples scarcer than the four cent.
