1901 Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded AU-50. Soft gray surface with rolling golden luster. Both the obverse and reverse display an "orange-peel" effect in the fields due to the dies beginning to wear. This is heaviest on the reverse at 12:00 and 6:00. A lustrous example with a patch of hairlines on the cheek seemingly the only factor not allowing this piece to achieve a higher grade.
