Lot 969		1866-S $20 Liberty. No motto. ANACS graded AU Details, Net EF-45, cleaned. Lightly cleaned in the past, perhaps with a jeweler's cloth, now with a patch of hairlines above Liberty's head and faint polishing on the high points. Apart from a few light circulation marks, the surfaces are much cleaner than normal. Extremely Fine seems to be the typical grade for the small population of known 1866-S No Motto Double Eagles. AU examples are very rare and no Mint State examples have been graded by either NGC or PCGS! (PCGS # 8945) . Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,500.
