Lot 1001
High Grade 1804 C-8 with the rim break at LIBE. PCGS graded AU-50. A choice coin that is from the late die state with the rim break over LIBE. Dark brown in color and with a single small spot on I of UNITED. Popular for the Spiked Chin obverse. This late die state is rare in this high grade state of preservation.

Lot 1002
1853. NGC graded MS-66 RB. Here's a really elegant copper coin, sporting that rarely seen brick-red luster mixed evenly with chocolate brown. Bold strike both sides, with separation of the stars and full detail in the wreath's leaves. A little more red on the reverse than the obverse. Smooth surfaces about as nice as could be. Population: just 2 graded MS66RB--this coin tied with the Eliasberg specimen! Worth a close inspection and a strong bid.
