With an adhesive patch on the bottom (approximately 1 x ½"), light surface scratching, and glaze chips to the edge of the spout; still, very good.

Scarce Blue Louwelsa Tankard. Height: 12". The indigo surface of this single-handled pitcher is artfully interrupted by a fog of sky blue, against which a fruit-laden grape vine appears. Signed CL Leffler in the glaze near the base. With the Louwelsa Weller half-circle seal and the numbers 80 and 6 impressed to the base. There is some restoration and minor surface scratching near the base, but this attractive vessel is still very good.
