Striking $1 Insufficient Inking Error. PMG has graded this $1 1995 Federal Reserve Note with no serial number graded 55 EPQ About Uncirculated. You can see the "L" district seal on the left side of the face but the serial number is impossible to discern. Estimated Value $500 - 800
One would be tempted to refer to this note as The Third Overprint Missing as that is correct. In any case we see the value of this note as $500 - $800 however you classify it.

Terrific $5 Small Head FRN with amazing face mistake. $5 1988A Serial # E15162548C with the face badly mis-inked. This Insufficient Inking Error has been graded PMG 65 EPQ. Estimated Value $500 - 1,000
The eight year old industry standard guidebook to US Paper Money Errors by Frederick J. Bart shows a value of $500 for this type of error but we strongly feel this fantastic note deserves a bid well in excess of that level.
This beauty has a ghost like appearance that makes it truly unique from other insufficient ink errors we have seen. We recommend you stretch to obtain this dandy mistake.

$50 dramatically under inked reverse error note. The front of this $50 1996 FRN serial #AD5853275A is virtually perfect, but flip the note over for a real surprise. The back impression is perhaps only 5% of the intensity that it should be. PCGS has graded this rarity PCGS 65 PPQ Gem New. Estimated Value $900 - 1,600
This insufficient inking $50 is even more dramatic than a blank back error. Just a bang-up piece for your collection. As dramatic as can be!

Estimated Value $700 - 1,000
Three impressive big head $100 errors. It would appear that over time we are seeing slightly fewer big heads produced as the BEP as quality control seems to be more of an issue than in the past. As in the past, the demand for $100 denomination error notes is very strong.

Very Rare $100 1996 With Blank Reverse. This is by far the rarest piece in this section of the error notes. This $100 1996 FRN serial #AK11857871A is missing the back print and is completely blank. It has been graded PCGS 66 PPQ Gem New. Estimated Value $2,500 - 4,000
This is the type of error that one cannot call a dealer and tell them to ship one of these beauties to them. Big Head $100 Major Errors like this one sell immediately when they show up in dealer inventories. We're thrilled to feature one of the best known examples of this error in today's Black Horse Collection auction.
The Bart standard reference guide shows a value of $2000 in Gem condition….and that was valued eight years ago. We feel today's auction should produce a higher result.
