$1 1988A FRN STAR Cutting Error. $1 1988A FRN L08124835* with a portion of the top note showing, graded PCGS 65 PPQ Gem New. Estimated Value $300 - 500
We feel that the prices realized in the past for STAR cutting errors are often far too low for the rarity involved. Some have sold for as little as $250 and some have gone for multiples of that number. We strongly encourage you to pursue this Gem New example.
Also included in this lot is a bookend note showing the previous serial number L08124834* that is "normal" without a printing error.

Rare $50 Cutting Error Note. $50 1985 FRN E51385400A graded PMG 65 EPQ Gem Uncirculated, with a portion of the top margin showing. As expected the back of the note is significantly mis-centered as well. Estimated Value $600 - 1,200
$50 errors are significantly rarer than $1, $5, $10, $20 and $100 errors. A word to the wise….they aren't making any more small head $50 notes and thus any nice error that shows up on this design is worth pursuing at a strong price.

Very Nice $100 1999 FRN showing a portion of the next note. $100 1999 Federal Reserve Note Serial BI44865402A graded PMG 64EPQ Choice Uncirculated with a nice sliver of the lower note appearing on the face of this big head $100 bill. Estimated Value $600 - 1,200
It seems that the BEP can't produce $100 mistakes fast enough to meet demand. So many collectors are looking for $100 error notes that they disappear from dealer inventories quickly.
