Rare 1935 Walt Disney Donald Duck Watch by Ingersoll with Donald Duck Pieces on Leather Band. A Treasure for the Disney Collector. While the original (1933-34) Mickey Mouse watches proved a cultural phenomenon and their success in record sales kept Disney in business with cash flow in the 30s, the company also introduced The Donald Duck Watch in 1935. It proved immediately a poor seller therefore very few were produced. Many Donald Duck watches had Mickey Mouse charms on the watch band. The most rare proved to be those with Donald Duck charms which this example has. Crystal has dulled but know the face is bright white, both hour and minute hands move smoothly. But the watch itself needs servicing.
This watch has sold in auction regularly for several thousands of dollars when the vintage Mickey Mouse watch craze swept collectors in the 1990s. It's not uncommon to see them listed today at double the price of an original Mickey. Estimated Value $1,000 - 2,000

Scarce 1936 "Mickey Mouse Alphabet Book" in Very Good Condition. Walt Disney published this fun Mickey Mouse Alphabet Book through Whitman Publications in 1936. This copy is in very good condition with a thin scuff to cover. Within the book, the pages have the usual overall and consistent toning and are just beginning to become brittle due to the acid in the paper used. So there are a couple of pages that have page cracks very close to the spine. Nevertheless the book is intact having very vibrant illustrations printed in two colors, red and black with no scribbles are marks by a child. Estimated Value $150 - 300

Original Schematic Inscribed and Signed to Peter Wragg Model Designer of RED DWARF by Mike Okuda and Rick Sternbach, STAR TREK (1946-2012) British SFX designer who worked on Doctor Who, Thunderbirds and scores of other productions but came into his own for his extensive model and prosthetic work on the UK series RED DWARF from Season I to Season 7. This design plan a gift to Wragg is by SFX designers Mike Okuda and Rick Sternbach of their Enterprise design NCC-1701-D for STAR TREK: The Next Generation. The inside joke here is that Wragg in his design schematics would drop in anachronistic objects that a distance look like hardware or windows, but up close might be an steam iron, a vase, a golf club, a bottle, an animal or a duck. Okuda and Sternbach ribbing no doubt a hero of their's, have in their plans an air plane, a rocket ship, a Porsche and a duck; hence the inscription.
20 x 40 in simple frame, schematic appears to be in mint condition, Okuda and Sternbach's signatures bold and clean with no fading. Estimated Value $300 - 800
