Opened, appears clearly no disc played. Virtually mint. Retails for $500

At the peak of his career in 1951 Hank Williams recorded 143 songs for the Mother's Best Flour Company radio shows. He sang with his regular studio band and recorded his hits as well as songs he never recorded commercially anywhere else. It's a rare, informal glimpse into the heart and soul of country music's greatest star who passed away on New Year's Day 1953, at age 29. Estimated Value $125 - 250

Paul Stanley: "Crossroads" Large, Colorful Acrylic on Canvas of Blues Legend John Lee Hooker (Born 1952-) Enjoying a phenomenal career in music, Paul Stanley was the co-founder guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the rock band, KISS. He portrayed the "Starchild" character of the four and was the writer/co-writer of most of the bands biggest hits. Stanley is also a painter and began debuting his works around 2006.
Offered is a large acrylic on canvas (40 x 60") stylized portrait of blues singer and composer, John Lee Hooker entitled "Crossroads" According to Stanley, this is an "enhanced" work where he has painted over a previous line composition of Hooker and with the full support of the original artist. Offered is a very polite rejection letter to a singer named Kelly sent February 25, 1992. "At this time we seem to be moving in a different direction from your abilities Thanks again for your time. In Fresno as part of their Synchronicity Tour, Andy Summers, Stewart Copeland, and Sting have signed a poster for this large concert which also included Thomson Twins, Oingo Bingo, The Fixx. Held at Ratcliff Stadium in Fresno, CA, this poster was signed for the publicist of the tour, Doug Lyon, who worked with a number of groups including the Jackson 5 World Victory Tour. Poster measures 22 x 14 and expensively framed in museum grade UV resistant glass preserving the bold colors of the art and the integrity of the signatures perfectly. 24 x 17". What makes this photo of particular interest is in 1996 The Beatles recorded "Taxman" which was in protest to Wilsons's Labour government levying almost 90% in taxes on each of the four. This proved to be The Beatles first protest statement in a song. Estimated Value $700 - 1,500

These photos also appear in "The Beatles Diary" which photographer Ellis produced with a copy available in this auction. Ringo Starr (8 x 10) on flight to Paris January 15, 1964 stamped on verso with Copyright information and information slug. Crop marks in pencil. Very fine condition with photo having slight rippling from handling, a tape lift on verso that does not impact photo and a ding to white margin held in check with acid free filmoplast tape. George Harrison (8 x 10" photo, image 9½ x 6½") at the Showbiz Awards Lunch held at the Dorchester Hotel, accepting an award on March 19, 1964. Copyright information stamped on verso and information slug. Fine to Very Fine condition with a tape lift on white margin that does not impact image, tiny edge ding and crop marks on verso.

The Beatles:\ "Beatles Diary" 1965, Vintage Original B&W Photo of Point of Sale and Counter Display + An Original Diary in Near to Mint Condition. The Beatles: Pocket Diary and Calendar with over 20 images of The Beatles all taken by photographer Richard Ellis. Pocket diary measures 4 x 3" and is in near to mint condition. Diary's spine is taught and appears it has never been fully opened. Produced by Beat Productions, and stamped "Made In Scotland" the photos included in the diary, the original photos are available elsewhere in this auction. The diary comes with a vintage photo that shows the point-of-sale materials as well as the original photo of the image used on The Beatles Diary. A must for collectors of Beatles ephemera.
Also included is an 8 x 10" glossy image of enthusiastic fans outside The Plaza Hotel, New York with two different Associated News copyrights taken February, 1964. Photo has emulsion foxing and toning in left and bottom white margins but the 6¼ x 9½" actual image is quite fine. Do note the amusement of the policeman dead center. The generational divide is humorously apparent. Estimated Value $500 - 900
