  1859 Indian Head Cent. NGC graded Proof 63. A rare pattern issue, this one is similar to the adopted design in 1859 on the obverse, while the reverse sports a small, wide shield at the top of the wreath. One trivial spot at the first A of AMERICA, and a rim tick or two. Boldly struck, with excellent device detail throughout, and evenly toned a pleasing brown shade.
