1885 $3 Gold. Proof 63. Boldly struck and downright rare in any grade. As a date, only 910 were struck, of those 109 were proofs. This one has a few minor hairlines in the fields, and scattered ticks from handling, but the orange-peel fields are present and generally undisturbed. Identifiable by a small "S" shaped lint mark in the field before the eye. A rare opportunity.
