  The Benson Mercury dime set, 1934 to 1940-P. These grade from Uncirculated to Gem Uncirculated, some with full bands. All mintmarked dates are included from 1934 through 1940-P and these have been mounted in the Wayte Raymond National Pages albums since 1944, and remain there today. Most show some golden toning and all have full satiny luster. Perfectly matched and totally original. All bidders should view one of Benson lots that include the National Pages albums to see how pristine the pages are, and the remarkable quality of the coins. Lot of 18 coins.

  1916 Mercury Dime. This group includes the following dates, 1916, 1917, 1918, 1919, 1920, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1931, and grades range from Extremely Fine to Brilliant Uncirculated, some with split bands. Most have golden toning and all are lustrous. A perfect way to start a date set with many of the scarcer Philadelphia issues. Lot of 13 coins.

  1940-D Mercury Dime. This group includes the following dates: 1940 DS, 1941 PD, S (2 pieces), 1942 PDS, 1943 PDS and 1944 PS, and grades range from MS-65 to MS-67, and several have full bands. Several are toned, and all are very nice for the grade. The 1940-S has an interesting bisecting die break on the obverse. Lot of 14 coins.
