  Early 20th Century British Cigarette Cards: 450 + Cards by Wills Tobacco, The First to Include Cards in Cigarette Packaging. Cigarette cards were trading cards issued by tobacco manufacturers to stiffen cigarette packaging and advertise cigarette brands. Between 1875 and the 1940s, cigarette companies often included collectible cards with their packages of cigarettes and the subjects could vary wildly as seen in this collection of Wills Cigarette trading/collectible cards issued by W.D. & H.O Wills tobacco manufacturing of Bristol, England, the first company to mass-produce cigarettes This is an extraordinary collection of cards, supremely well archived. Taken all together, the cards demonstrate life pre and post WWI as well as insight into the appeal these cards achieved based on the subjects and their customers.   Outstanding Jennings Standard Chief $1.00 Slot Machine filled with about 50 Tropicana Casino, Las Vegas Tokens. Excellent Jennings Standard Chief vintage original slot machine in fine working order. From the late 1940s, machine has its original oak cabinet, the reel-strips are original and bright, as is the payout menu under glass on the right side. From the O.D. Jennings & Co., Chicago, Illinois the original cash box and cabinet lock and key are present. This is a top loading slot machine, coin is inserted in round opening above the Standard Chief window. (The mid-level round opening on left side of window is sealed and does nothing, but all the machines seem to have it) This is a very solid, fine working vintage slot machine and would make a welcome addition to any entertaining space. 28" tall by 16" wide by 16" deep and weighs approximately 100 pounds. We certainly encourage any bidders in the area to consider picking up from our West LA location, but yes we can ship within the Continental USA** for about $350.

173 piece chip set in very good to excellent condition. Chips certainly do exhibit wear/play, with only a very few having contusions to edges. But the centers of the chips are in overall excellent condition, whether paper or printed.

A solid set for any level of collector with pieces increasingly difficult to find. The $25 and $100 chips are particularly valuable. The most powerful crime boss in Batista-era Cuba was Sam Trafficante. His association with the Tropicana makes for very interesting reading as does the cultural barriers toppled by the club's long list of top entertainers. Estimated Value $800 - 1,200

  Fine Antique National Cash Register Model 52¼ Ornate Medium Size Bronze and Brass. Antique National Cash Register Model 52-1/4, approx. 20 x 17 x 15½. This register has a matte brass and deep burnished finish that is very attractive with elaborate scroll work completely surrounding. All the vintage keys are included, the keys and drawer completely functional. Inside the register drawer there are two fading polaroids of the register's finish being restored in 1970 from the original owner as a gift to the consignor. Inside cash drawer a 1935 Silver Certificate $1 bill, two Indian head pennies, a buffalo nickel and a roll of paper register tape. There is a crack to marble that actually does not distract in the least and was present well before 1970. A terrific antique piece. Approximately 55 pounds and can be shipped to the Continental US and Canada. for $150 -$200. Of course local pickup welcome.

A collection of twenty-four (24) gorgeous vintage/antique gaming chips all made of mother of pearl. Most of these chips are from Europe (predominantly France) however we note one or two from Cuba. These chips are late 19th Century and early 20th Century. What has remained constant with these chips is how absolutely beautiful they are.
