  Outstanding Turquoise Glass and Steer Skull Wall Sculpture. The perfect addition to any home, office, bar, restaurant, man cave, club, retail space or film/television set is this truly striking Southwest themed wall sculpture. Made of turquoise glass cabochons and a steer skull, with a silver cross with accent crystals and painted enamel in center, this is one galvanizing piece. The standout are the horns which all but demand attention, beautiful patina and wide. Piece measures 23" tall and the horns tip to tip are 32 inches. Fantastic piece.

  Beautiful Copper Enamel Still Life of Orchids from Japan of Exceptional Quality Dated 1945. Superior enamel on copper of a pair of cattleya orchids on a slightly convex copper panel. Absolutely exquisite craftsmanship especially in the transition of colors within the various parts of the plant. Further enhancing this work is the artist's use of a fine line of gold gilt that gives the orchids extra dimension and luxury. The background is the normal oxidation of copper with very handsome swirls of greenish blue and brown tones.

There is Japanese writing on verso and able to translate Tokyo, August, 1945 and Yoshiyui Morita. The framing and velvet mat and frame are in excellent condition. This work was kept and displayed exceptionally well. We only note dampstaining on verso. Copper panel is 10 x 14 and framed to 17 x 22. Estimated Value $400 - 800

  Exceptional Hand Painted Tibetan Thangka Scroll Painting, Lhasa, Tibet, Mid-20th Century, In Colors and Gilt Gold. Outstanding hand painted Tibetan Thangka acquired decades past from an art dealer in Lhasa, Tibet, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, which lies on the Lhasa River's north bank in a valley of the Himalayas.

Thangka paintings, importantly, are religious art is used as a meditation tool to help bring one further down the path to enlightenment. The Buddhist Vajrayana practitioner uses a Thangka image of their yidam, or meditation deity, as a guide, by visualizing themselves as being that deity, thereby internalizing the Buddha qualities. Thangkas hang on or beside altars, and may be hung in the bedrooms or offices of monks and other devotees. They also can teach historical events, stories of previous Lamas and Buddhist mythologies.

But what remains universal for all peoples is the astounding artistry in these pieces spanning centuries. This particular Thangka is far superior than those sold to the trade. The details are magnificent, precise and extraordinary throughout this work down to the smallest leaf, the embroidery and patterns on the fabrics.

Multi-award winning Foxlo Pottery Studios (located in the gorgeous seaside village of Cambria, California) has distinguished themselves in their line of pottery going on 30+ years. Fox throws the pottery and Lois creates unique designs that have pushed them to the fore in Northern California pottery studios. One of their more distinguished lines are creating dazzling landscapes by applying combinations of glazes, multiple firings and dramatic glaze effects to create these unique pieces. A rare opportunity to acquire two matching pieces, created 12 years apart. A stunning fruit bowl 2½" x 13½" handcrafted in 2007 where areas of the basin has very thick glazing giving it a striking undulation.   Outstanding Vintage, Japanese Hand Carved Rosewood Koi Fish 24" in Length. Extremely Scarce in This Size, Beautiful Craftsmanship. Exceptional vintage Japanese hand carved rosewood koi fish complete with glass eyes. This is a terrific example of these vintage pieces from the mid-20th Century given its impressive size. Most are 8" to 12" in length but this piece measures 25" x 9" with a particularly fine undulating and detailed tail fin. In excellent condition and displays beautifully. Estimated Value $300 - 1,000

  Navajo Yei Bi Chei Weaving with Seven Dancers. Natural Dyes, Wool Handmade in New Mexico. A Ye’i Bi Chei weaving depicts participants in an event, people who are assuming the dress and function of the Ye’i for the purpose of a healing ceremony popularly called a Ye’i Bi Chei Dance. This designs shows the figures in profile and of significant note, the wool weaving is tight, the colors from vegetal and aniline colors and was handmaid in New Mexico, unfortunately unsigned. Hangs on vaguely Native American designed holder that clamps the weaving in pace, no penetration by nails, staples or screws. 25 x 28" and in perfect condition. Purchased from Trails West Gallery in Bozeman, Montana. Estimated Value $250 - 500

  Handsome, Large Art Pottery Vase, Peinn Mor Pottery, Scotland. Scottish potters Keith and Beryl Dawdry enjoyed for years being a favorite in Scotland or their unique, high quality pottery art pieces. Located in an old school house by Girvan Ayrshire, Scotland, their works were popular throughout Scotland, Europe and tourists. This exceptional vase has an image of a Scottish Highland cow on both sides. This breed of cattle is known for their reddish colors and long hair which falls into their faces which the artist(s) have captured perfectly. Signed on bottom Peinn Mor and initials BD for Beryl Dawdry. Vase was literally hand carried on the plane from Scotland by the daughter of the consignor to arrive safely. 19 x 10 x 6", mint condition and absolutely beautiful. Weighs 16 pounds so can handle a great number of flowers. Peinn Mor Pottery closed their doors permanently the first year of the pandemic. Estimated Value $250 - 500
