A stunning antique brooch or pendant of a dramatically ornate Maltese cross boasting superior craftsmanship. Five square cut emeralds over a carat each with emerald baguettes radiating from center as well as accent emeralds on two of the danglers. Complimenting the emeralds are four round garnets and 22 baroque pearls of various sizes. Roman Cameo and High Karat Yellow Gold, 3rd Century A.D. Earrings with Blue Glass Beads Suspended on Danglers. A fine pair of ancient earrings boasting small, white, hard-stone cameos enhanced with a dark black pitch surrounding the cameo within the oval. The oval framing is part of a larger box like mount accented with twisted gold danglers each having a glass bead accent. The serpentine lobe hooks are quit long and add immeasurably to the pair's appeal.
Condition: One dangler is missing as well as one bead. Further, there is a very tiny separation where hook attaches to one box. Dated to 3rd Century A.D., these earrings have otherwise survived the ages beautifully and remain a remarkable pair worthy of any collection.

Boxed cameo mount is ½" in length then add another ½" including the danglers. Total gross weight is 6.70 grams. Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,800

Very Nice Agate and High Karat Gold Pendant and Bead Necklace, 1st Millennium B.C. A fine agate and 22K (or higher) gold pendant necklace. The pendant itself is approximately 1½ x 1¼" that most certainly exhibits relic wear with a couple dings in the bezel and some crimping on verso. Pendant is centered with an exceptionally fine, large oval banded agate with four separate band layers visible in contrasting colors. Note: there is no carving on the agate. 36 high karat beads, two torch shaped, are strung alternately with fine quality, ancient banded agate beads adding immeasurable to the appeal of this necklace.
