173 piece chip set in very good to excellent condition. Chips certainly do exhibit wear/play, with only a very few having contusions to edges. But the centers of the chips are in overall excellent condition, whether paper or printed.

A solid set for any level of collector with pieces increasingly difficult to find. The $25 and $100 chips are particularly valuable. The most powerful crime boss in Batista-era Cuba was Sam Trafficante. His association with the Tropicana makes for very interesting reading as does the cultural barriers toppled by the club's long list of top entertainers. Estimated Value $1,200 - 2,000

Rare collection of vintage/antique Series 2 casino chips from Agrupación Artística Gallega. Chips from this casino are highly prized. This is the Series 2 chip which features their Crest and Seal, a big design improvement over their first. There are 20 Blue Chips and 130 red chips in overall very good condition. Very Fine Collection of 24 Rare Antique Casino Chips Made From Mother Of Pearl, ca. 1890s to 1930s. A collection of twenty-four (24) gorgeous vintage/antique gaming chips all made of mother of pearl. Most of these chips are from Europe (predominantly France) however we note one or two from Cuba. These chips are late 19th Century and early 20th Century. What has remained constant with these chips is how absolutely beautiful they are. The craftsmanship, the tinting and engraving are top drawer. California and Colorado: Collection of 24 Vintage Casino Chips from Each State, Total 48. Collecting casino chips can be a look back in history to an individual state's history. California and Colorado are prime examples and can be seen in the territories and cities gambling was licensed.

California has had legitimate card rooms since the 1860's. But casinos can only be operated by tribal peoples on their land and to date there are 63 operating. Offered is a fine diverse collection of chips from these halls. Included are Bicycle Club, Avalon Club, Mirage Springs, El Condor, The Spa Casino, El Monte, Barona Big Top, The Reservation, Nevada Club, Yosemite Inn, Commerce Casino and Bell Club to name a few

Colorado permits gambling in three of its towns, but like California, gaming on Indian reservations. The city of Black Hawk has the most casinos in the state. Collection of casino chips include Rohling Inn, The Silver Palace, Prospector Casino, Phenix House, Mavericks, Blazing Saddles, Johnny Nolon's, Golden Gates, Molly's and Bullwhacker's to name a few.
