Meadowcroft, William H. "The Boys' Life of Edision" Signed by Thomas Edison and Meadowcroft. The 1921 edition of "The Boys' Life of Edison" hardcover by Harper & Brothers. Book is in good condition with normal wear, but why it stands apart is it both signed by Thomas Edison as Thos A Edison and inscribed and signed by author Meadowcroft as Wm H Meadowcroft on the loose endpaper. This is not the printed Edison signature on the consent page for his story to be told to all boys and girls but an original (Edison) signature executed very boldly in steel fountain pen and black ink. Meadowcroft has inscribed "To Joel B. Hayden with best wishes" and dated it Nov. 7, 1930. Estimated Value $400 - 700
