ASTP: Signed Cover by Slayton, Stafford and Brand plus Cover with Flown Kapton Foil From Command Module Affixed and Two Red Serial # Photos. ASTP collection: Signed cover dated Jan 30, 1973 with ASTP crew named and photo, autographed by Stafford, Slayton and Brand. 2.) Terrific cover canceled both in Russia and the United States each with commemorative stamps celebrating the historic ASTP mission and both cancels stamped July 15, 1975 that has affixed a small segment of the flown Kapton foil from the ASTP Command Module. Letter of authenticity by Ken Havekotte. 3.) A second cover with country cancels and postmarks without the Kapton foil segment. 4.) Two stills from the mission unsigned. Both red serial numbers, one of the recovery of the US crew, the other of Leonov and Kubasov training at Johnson Space Center. Estimated Value $600 - UP

ASTP: Collection of Signatures by the Three American Astronauts, Three Support Crew and Two Russian Cosmonauts Spread Over 11 Signed Pieces. Apollo-Soyuz Test Project: An historic cooperation between two Cold War superpowers signed into action by Richard Nixon and became a reality under Gerald Ford. Three American Astronauts and two Russian Cosmonauts docked in space which involved remarkable coordination between the engineers and scientists of both countries.
A variety of signed pieces 1.) Russian/English Apollo Soyuz Test Project Mission Profile signed by Alexei Leonov and Valeri Kubasov, one of the best dual signed pieced Goldberg Auctions has offered of the two Cosmonauts. 2.) Two 5 x 7" signed photos of Leonove. 3.) Unusual piece: Tom Stafford and Leonov signing on original John F. Kennedy Space Center admission ticket to the launch of Apollo Soyuz Test Project. 3.) Tom Stafford and Vance Brand each signing their respective black and white portrait Russian postcards with Russian cancels. 4.) Three signed ASTP "SpaceShots" trading cards; 2 by Vance Brand, 1 by Deke Slayton which he signed twice! 5.) Two ASTP SpaceShots of Support Crew, Karol "Bo" Bobko and Richard Truly. 6.) Ron Evans signed cover, Back Up Crew Command Pilot.

ASTP: Eight (8) Signed 8x10 NASA Stills Representing All 5 On the Mission Including Deke Slayton in White Suit and Several Engineers. Apollo-Soyuz Test Project: An historic cooperation between two Cold War superpowers signed into action by Richard Nixon and became a reality under Gerald Ford. Three American Astronauts and two Russian Cosmonauts docked in space which involved remarkable coordination between the engineers and scientists of both countries.

Excellent collection of eight signed stills all involving ASTP: 1. Superb inscribed and signed Deke Slayton NASA white space suit portrait. After being passed on so many missions due to health concerns, he made it finally to space. 2.) Vance Brand signed photo in front of controls. 3.) Valeri Kubasov on board Soyuz (red serial number) boldly signed 4.) Alexei Leonov black and white signed portrait signed and dated 11/10/96. 5.) Tom Stafford signed black and white photo at his home entertaining Russian Chief of Cosmonaut training Vladimir Shatalov and back up crew member Anatoly Filipchenko. 6.) Signed photo (red serial number) by Vladimir Dzhanibekov, Russian backup crew member. 7.) Signed photo by Recovery Engineer on USS New Orleans, J. Milt Heflin. 8.) ASTP Technical Director Glynn Lunney signing ASTP logo. Lunney was the instrumental point person in getting the Apollo 13 crew home alive (all but ignored in the film) who passed in March of this year at age 84. Estimated Value $500 - UP

ASTP: Full 17 Minute NASA Post-Mission Press Clips all Transferred on 16mm Film, Copy # 10, Deke Slayton's Personal Copy + Signed Photo. 16 mm film, like new in can "ASTP ASTRONAUT POST MISSION PRESS CONFERENCE FILM RELEASE", production number CL765 which comes with a very exacting scene descriptions. Total, 648 feet of film. Inside are two postal cards both referencing Copy Number 10. First designated to Tom Stafford, a second card lines through Stafford's name and written in Deke Slayton. Both cards dated 10-30-75. Film is 46 years old and looks pristine as is the can with documents in excellent condition. Also included is an 8 x 10" signed portrait photo of Deke Slayton, looking immensely pleased, in his white space suit. Estimated Value $500 - UP

Apollo-Soyuz Collection of 10 Signed Pieces Mostly Leonov and Kubasov, Deke Slayton, Plus Five Signed Pieces by Valentina Tereshkova. The Apollo Soyuz Mission in 1975 proved a landmark achievement in shared cooperation with the Soviet Union and finally got Deke Slayton into space. Offered are ten signed pieces: Four boldly signed covers by Cosmonauts Aleksei Leonov and Valery Kubasov on various First Day Issue Covers, a Kubasov and Leonov signed color photo 8½ x 10½" from Parade Magazine, and two individual photos also lifted from Parade. Deke Slayton ASTP First Day Issue Commemorative Stamp postmarked Kennedy Space Center and Vance Brand signing an ASTP NASA photo but having poor contrast.

Coupled with this collection are three superb signed covers, all having Soviet Union and US postage stamps plus three small photos lifted from magazines boldly signed by The First Woman in Space, Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova. Estimated Value $400 - UP

Four signed pieces by the astronauts of Apollo Soyuz. and the President. 1.) One deluxe Russian/Soviet cover with boast Russian and US postal cancels and signed boldly by Gerald Ford and Vance Brand. LOA by Steve Zarelli. 2.) Signed 3-image photo by Vance Brand and Tom Stafford. 3.) The same 3-image photo, second copy, is signed by Leonov and Kubasov. Top half photo is excellent of Stafford and Leonov shaking hands for this historic occasion. 4. Final piece is a photo signed by Deke Slayton signing illustrated image of docking between the two spacecraft. All pieces in excellent condition. Estimated Value $400 - UP
