Robert Moses Collection: 20+ Signatures Including 3 Signed Portrait Photos and a Great Number of the 1964-65 NY World's Fair Brochures (1888-1981) One of the most influential (and at times polarizing) urban planners of New York and the North East United States in the Mid-20th Century. He worked with the 1939 NY World's Fair and was President of the '64 New York World's Fair for which he is most known from 1960-1966. Collection includes three (3) 8 x 10" B&W signed portraits, two standing in front of the Unisphere which still stands today in Flushing Meadows. Also included are 23 World's Fair trading cards of different pavillions at the fair, and some of the cards are signed by Moses and several vintage original brochures including one from the '39 Fair and several from the '64 including the Official Preview brochure from Time/Life, Progressland, Futurama, Westinghouse Time Capsule and the Dupont Pavillion. All pieces are in excellent condition. Fantastic for any collector of 20th Century notables and of course World's Fairs. Estimated Value $250 - UP
