Warren Court, Exceptional Signed Photograph by All Nine Members, June, 1959. Outstanding B&W photo signed by all members of the Warren Court in Summer of 1959. Back row: Charles Evans Whittaker, John M. Harlan, William J. Brennan, Jr., and Potter Stewart. Front row: William O. Douglas, Hugo L. Black, Chief Justice Earl Warren, Felix Frankfurter and Tom C. Clark. The Warren Court (1959-1969) issued a number of landmark decisions affecting civil rights, separation of church and state, police arrest procedures including Brown v. Board of Education (racial segregation) Baker v. Carr (election laws) and Miranda v Arizona (criminal procedures.) Photo is 8½ x 11", printed on double weight matte paper by the historic photography studio in Washington D.C., Harris & Ewing and boldly signed in a combination of steel point fountain pen and ball point pen with each autograph clean and legible.
