Two Original Folios from 1729 -1735, Massachusetts (Colony) Laws, Acts and Statutes. Two original folios likely extracted or dis-bounded from a single volume on the Acts and Laws Passed by the Great and General Court of Assembly of His Majesty's Province of the Massachusetts-Bay in New England. Each are 11 x 7¼" printed on rag paper and, while missing title page of the original volume the printing information is as follows: "Printed Boston in New-England: Printed by B. Green, Printer to the Honourable the Lieut. Governour & Council, for Benjamin Eliot, and Sold at His Shop Near the Town-House in King's Street." The first folio includes pages 421-462 and the second includes pages 501-530. Given their age the two folios are in good condition, quite legible, pages stout with some paper restoration to one corner on one page. Each come in it's own Buckram folder. We do note a small contemporary stamp in lower right corner of first folio's last page the letters "H.E.H Dupl" inside a small square, indicating a holding at one time within a well known Southern California collection.
