Two Rare Chinese Flown Covers in Deluxe Presentations: Shen Zhou Hao 1st Flight and the 20th Recovery Satellite. The Shenzhou program was an aggressive initiative in China to ultimately get a man in space. Test missions leading up to the flight were undertaken and the first test flight was launched on November 1999. On the flight, in cooperation with Chinese Space Foundation, 833 covers were flown then safely landed by parachute in Inner Mongolia. 1.) From the first flight is cover #151 presented in a deluxe folio with original jacket envelope that contains a block of 12 of the gorgeous silver commemorative stamps, a three page COA and the tipped-in flown cover with commemorative stamps canceled with launch date. 2.) The second flown cover is from the 20th Recovery Satellite in an equally impressive commemorative folio with three page COA and is #55. Estimated Value $600 - UP

Extraordinary Collection of Chinese Space Flights: Two Flown Covers, Multiple Autographs by the First 6 Taikonauts + Commemoratives. Superb collection of Chinese Space Flights (1994-2008) 1.) Two flown covers from the 16th Chinese recoverable satellite at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on 1994, each in their special presentations and certificates with postmarks on launch and landing dates. The balance are multiple signed photos, and commemorative covers, most especially from Shenzhou V and China's first Taikonaut in space, Yang Liwei. We count 10 photos/covers where he has boldly signed, some absolutely beautiful commemorative covers. Also numerous signed covers/photos by Fei Junlong, Nie Haisheng, Jing Haipeng, Liu Boming and Zhai Zhigang the subsequent 5 Tikonauts in space. Lindbergh, Charles: Legendary Aviator, Autographed First Edition Biography of His Father and by Author. Legendary aviator Charles Lindbergh signed copy of Lindbergh of Minnesota, a political biography of his father written by Bruce L. Larson. New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1973 336 pp. The book chronicles the political views of Lindbergh's father, a Republican congressman from Minnesota. Lindbergh and the author both sign the title page, with Lindbergh boldly signing ''Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr.'' in fountain pen and black ink below the book's author, Bruce L. Larson, who signed in blue ballpoint. Hardcover book is bound in blue cloth boards and has original, unclipped dust jacket. First day issue stamps and cancels on the half title and title page from 1974 to Charles, Iowa from his home in Hawaii where Lindbergh lived until his death. Pages also have stamps with cancels celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Lindbergh's flight celebrated in 1977. Excellent condition and tailored for collectors of historic aviation. Rare, Gemini Mission Control Center Badge, Property of Donald "Deke" Slayton, Flight Crew Operations. From the personal property of Flight Crew Operations, Donald "Deke" Slayton (1924-1993), who was responsible for making crew assignments, and determined which astronauts would fly on the Gemini and Apollo missions. Here his vintage original Gemini Mission Control Center badge with name "SLAYTON, D. K." Labeled "1" and measures 3¾ x 2¾ with clip on verso. Badge is excellent condition with just the slightest age discoloration and edge wear. On verso, standard warning of unathorized or counterfitting and if found, mail to: KSC, NASA GA4 Cocoa Beach, Fla. Comes with LOA. Estimated Value $350 - UP

NASA Training SONY Digital Handycam DCR-TRV25 ---- ARED PROJECT CAMERA 1. Late 1990s Digital Handycam DCR-TRV25 deaccessioned by NASA. Camera has NASA "Excess Transportation Document" attached to side of original box. Camera does have all sorts of cables and chargers as well as original lithium battery. On side of camera are labels reading "ARED PROJECT CAMERA 1". "ARED" The Advanced Resistive Exercise Device allowed the crew to engage in resistive exercise onboard the ISS by simulating the use of free weights. Likely this camera was used to record testing of the exercise device. Again, whether this camera was used onboard ISS is not known but that is the information we have on hand. Vintage Original Saturn V Control Center Computer Circuit Board and On Site Saturn V Engineering Log Entries, 1969. From the SATURN Ground Computer System installed in 1966 comes this original (RCA 110 A) large computer circuit board. Measuring 4¼ x 8", this circuit board is identified RCA # 60806 and is in perfect, used condition. Also included are select pages from the RCA 110A Computer Orientation manual published by the NASA School of Reliability and Quality Assurance, George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, Alabama. A different and all-together-very-appealing artifact from the early computer era of NASA. Also included is an orignal on site engineering log by the propulsion tank systems engineer and related systems operations at Launch Complex 39. One sheet written in pencil front and back outline and record the day to day challenges, problem solving and the like before the Saturn V rocket could be given an "all-clear" and "go" for launch. 3. 1971 Apollo 14 12mm silver medal made from a mixed lot of 10,000 grains of silver that was actually carried around the Moon.

Flown sample of the Kapton foil 1 x 1" that protected the Command Module during its flight and re-entry with an excellent and informative LOA. 2.) STS-51L Comdr. Dick Scobee Signed 747 Space Shuttle Aircraft Cover Plus Challenger Commemorative Signed by Artist With Written Personal Reflections. Lt. Colonel Dick Scobee (1939-1986) was a pilot and combat aviator during the Vietnam War and later became an Air Force test pilot. In 1985 Scobee was assigned to command the ill-fated STS-51-L mission. The mission, designed to deploy a satellite to study the approaching Halley's Comet and to inaugurate the Teacher in Space Project, exploded 73 seconds into the flight, killing all aboard. This lot consists of a signed cover by Scobee of the 747 Shuttle Carrying Aircraft Proficiency Test that he commanded, which is very nicely presented with a photo of his Challenger crew. The second piece is a framed and signed memorial photo of STS-51-L signed by the artist Bill Corey. On verso, written on back of frame is a heartfelt note of just what it meant to have his work selected and what it meant to be a NASA team member with the crew. Framed cover is 16 x 13" and framed memorial photo 28 x 23". Estimated Value $300 - UP

Large, Twice Flown Section of Nose Gear Tire; First to Fly on Two Separate Shuttle Missions, Atlantis & Columbia. BF Goodrich Space Shuttle Orbiter large nose gear tire segment first to fly on two different missions (as set of two) flown on Shuttle Missions STS-27 (Atlantis) and STS-28 (Columbia) 8 months later. Segment is 9" in length where at the cross sectioned ends, one can easily see the twin high strength steel bead wire. Each tire was filled with nitrogen and weighed 205 pounds. Comes with a bit of history, documentation, COA by Ken Havekotte, photos and NASA "Facts." Outstanding piece of Shuttle Orbiter history and the first time Goldberg Auctions has offered such an exceptional flown tire segment. Estimated Value $600 - UP

Shuttle/Space Lab Stowage Drawer Interior Slide Drawer and Container. Shuttle/Space Lab era aluminum stowage drawer and container. Model number is SED46102660-318 and serial number is 1032 which is stamped on the right side of drawer that pulls out of container. Drawer has holes evenly machine punched throughout and easily slides into the much heavier container housing, serial number 1013, and can be locked very securely with two toggle locks on either side. We have no information on specific history of flight status however there is a yellow sticker printed 2002. Stowage locker is 12 x 20 x 19" and most definitely shows signs of use. Large squares of Velcro at back of drawer and on front face with some large strips of tapes on inside walls. Terrific artifact from the modern era of NASA for any level of collector and it is completely functional. Estimated Value $500 - UP
