The only way to own a piece of the Moon and Mars is to acquire a part of one of the rare meteorites that originated when a very large meteorite impacted their surface ejecting small rocks out into space that eventually made their way to Earth as a meteorite. This 13 x 7" black frame ready for hanging contains two small fragments of meteorites from the Moon and Mars. Neil Armstrong and Janet Armstrong Signed Affidavit and Photo. Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), naval aviator, test pilot, university professor and the first man to walk the moon on July 21st, 1969. Offered is a signature of Armstrong as "N. A. Armstrong" clipped from a tax related affidavit and co-signed underneath by his first wife Janet, who later divorced in 1994 after 38 years of marriage. This piece was discussed in the comments section in January 2011 on CollectSpace.com and comes slabbed from Beckett Grading Services and JSA certification. Apollo 10 - Double Copper Wire Communication Harness Presentation Disk. The Apollo 10 mission encompassed all aspects of an actual crewed lunar landing, except the landing. It was the first flight of a complete, crewed Apollo spacecraft to operate around the moon. Two copper wire coils entombed in a clear round acrylic 2½ x 1" presentation disk. Stamped Apollo 10 May 18-26, 1969. Cernan / Stafford / Young. Presentation disks were often used as a "Hockey Puck" around the office, this example is clear and quite choice. Early covers we have not seen of the Apollo program AS-201, AS-501 with four of these covers signed by Deke Slayton and one USS WASP Memorial Cover for Apollo 1 signed by Donald Chaffee, father of Roger Chaffee. 2.) Apollo 7, six (6) commemorative covers; one signed by crew Schirra, Cunningham and Eisele, another signed by the backup crew Swigert, Evans and Pogue, plus several others with single signed crew members. 3.) Apollo 8, 25 covers most with signatures including several by astronauts Borman (three total) and Anders (four total) with the balance signed by support crews. Apollo 11, Lunar Module 5 (LM-5) "Eagle" Kapton Foil Insulating Blanket Segment Removed For Repair Days Before Launch with LOA. Rare segment from LM-5 "Eagle" one of a layer of nearly 25 that were removed to replace a faulty squib valve critical to Eagle's decent stage. The circumstances and steps that were taken are certified by the Lead Technician of Propulsion and Environmental Controls for Grumman's Lunar Module Support Team in a Letter of Authenticity which is included. Large 6 x 5½" segment is absolutely the largest piece we have ever offered in auction from LM-5 of the Apollo 11 mission. Outstanding lot of 1960s publications centered on the Apollo 11 moon landing. 1.) A very clean example of the phenomenal July 6, 1969 full, 250 page Apollo 11 Lunar Landing Mission Press Kit covering every aspect of the flight. This kit educated the American press in delivering the most accurate information during the course of the historic flight. As fascination today as it was in 1969. 2.) Five "Study Guides" from Grumman for Training Purposes overall dealing with Environmental Control Subsystems all the property of the the engineer who was employed there during the Apollo Missions. Fascinating reading, many with illustrations and schematics. What remains remarkable in perusing these guides is the astonishing technical feat in getting men on the moon, most especially the LM. Collection of Richard "Dick" Underwood: Personal Binder of Apollo 11 Photographs 36 Total. Richard "Dick" Underwood was chief engineer on the production of the first topographic maps of the moon. He was the first person to view every photograph from the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and the first 23 space shuttle missions. He also provided technical training to every astronaut who went into space in the twentieth century. Further, he toured the world giving over 1500 lectures on NASA and the space program earning legions of fans. Offered is his personal binder of Apollo 11 photographs which definitely show evidence of humidity and silverfish that go hand in hand with living in and around Houston, Texas. But the photos are in excellent condition having been individually sleeved and know there are numerous images that we are not sure have been seen, or at the very least, widely circulated. Mix of black and white and color, the lunar photographs especially great still conveying awe at such a miraculous achievement in exploration. There are 24 Sterling Silver Medals containing ¾ ozt. of pure silver, 18 ounces of pure silver in total. Apollo 13 - Flown THE LARGEST SEGMENT OF Thermal Mylar Film Coating, "Kapton Foil' We Have Ever Offered. Apollo 13. Offered here is the single largest segment of "Kapton" foil we have ever offered (officially GT-131 Thermal Control Coating Laminate) from the aborted Apollo 13 Mission taken from the Command Module "Odyssey" which in April, 1970 carried Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert and Fred Haise into space. The mission resulted in one of the most dramatic and greatest triumphs for NASA in getting the men back safely after an oxygen tank explosion two days into their flight to the moon. The mylar film coating provided thermal protection for the Command Module. Once returned to Earth, thermal coating was removed from the spacecraft. This huge segment measures approximately 13 x 3" with heat stress, normal buckling and lovely golden hues due to charring from the re-entry. Apollo 15: Two (2) Segments of Flown Kapton Foil Removed by NASA Photographer Dick Williamsom & Crew Signatures on Sheet of Stamps. Apollo 15 was the first moon mission designed for extensive exploration of the moon with the first Lunar Roving Vehicle in which astronauts Dave Scott and Jim Irwin spent 18 hours covering 17 miles. Both 1¼ x ¾" segments are in two separate COA's by Dick Williamson who has personally certified that he removed them from CSM Endeavor as part of the NASA recovery team and as an official photographer of the splashdown from a Navy helicopter. One COA is ready for framing, the other great for archiving. Both specimens and their documents in excellent condition. We have rarely offered flown Kapton foil from Apollo 15.
Also included is a signed sheet of 8¢ stamps from 1971 signed in margins by Apollo 15 crew, Scott, Irwin and Worden. Estimated Value $500 - UP

Apollo 15: Controversial Dave Scott/KSC Cover, Original Apollo 15 Press Kit, VIP Launch Badge, Recovery Crew Signed Cover and More. Interesting collection, all related to Apollo 15. 1.) Scarce and controversial Dave Scott cover that is printed in top left corner "This Envelope Was Flown To the Moon Aboard Apollo 15" and canceled July 26, 1971 Kennedy Space Center, day of launch. However this cover is one of the remainders of the initial order and did not fly to the moon. The entire "scandal" of all three astronauts taking more covers than allowed put a blemish on their otherwise phenomenal mission. 2.) Collection of Richard "Dick" Underwood: Personal Collection of 5" and 10" Wide Spools of Exposed Film From Apollo 15 Command Module Mapping. Richard "Dick" Underwood was chief engineer on the production of the first topographic maps of the moon. He was the first person to view every photograph from the Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and the first 23 space shuttle missions. He also provided technical training to every astronaut who went into space in the twentieth century. Further, he toured the world giving over 1500 lectures on NASA and the space program earning legions of fans. From his personal collection, THREE (3) flown cans of film, most definitely from Apollo 15, for panoramic lunar surface mapping from the Command Module bay camera.
The two (2) smaller cans of film measures 5" wide and the images of the lunar surface are clear, with Apollo 15 imprinted on film's edge. The larger can of film is 10" wide with spectacular images of continuous mapping of the lunar surface and with Apollo 15 imprinted very visibly in leader after a bit of unspooling. These are terrific pieces from the Apollo program. Goldberg Auctions has never offered such items previously and by every measure very scarce. Estimated Value $600 - UP

All but Apollo 15 are in their original binders which definitely show evidence of humidity and silverfish that go hand in hand with living in and around Houston, Texas. But the photos are excellent having been individually sleeved and know there are numerous images that we are not sure have been seen, at the very least widely circulated. Mix of black and white and color, the lunar photographs especially great still conveying awe at such a miraculous achievement in exploration. Apollo X = 60 photos, Apollo XII = 26 photos, Apollo XIV = 28 photos, Apollo XV = 18 photos and Apollo XVI = 20 photos. A great archive of photos for every level of collector or dealer. Apollo 17: Gene Cernan Co-Signed Original Ink Sketch Artwork by Acclaimed Space Artist, Robert McCall. Gene Cernan, the 11th Moonwalker who flew to the moon in December of 1972 on the last mission, Apollo 17. Cernan has boldly signed a wonderful original illustration by acclaimed space artist Robert McCall. McCall is likely the most celebrated artist through much of the space program as well as the the artist of thee posters for Stanley Kubrick's 2001: a space odyssey, all three highly prized in the classic film poster community. Illustration is inscribed to Cernan "Congratulations On Your Magnificent Achievement. Bob McCall" and measures 8 x 12". This is illustration is on the blank inside covrer of a color brochure on Robert McCall. Illustration is in wonderful condition but know there is a remarkable coincidence of a shadow/discoloration to left side of illustration which is toning from a color Apollo XVII logo from the facing page.
