Lot 1090		1849-D. PCGS graded MS-63. A magnificent example! Boldly struck and shimmering with greenish-golden mint bloom color. The surfaces show scarcely any signs of handling which adds to the already strong eye appeal. A low mintage, first year of the denomination date. Perhaps this one was saved as the first of its kind, and thankfully for collectors today such a coin even exists. Destined for an advanced collection where this coin will be long cherished. Lot 1092		1850-D. PCGS graded AU-55. A deep impression exhibiting golden-orange mint luster. This date and mint were struck with a single pair of dies, with the mintmark somewhat high near the ribbon knot. The reverse lettering is often filled such as the LAR of DOLLAR, making them indistinct. Underrated as a date and mint, with this excellent example sure to be sought out by astute collectors. Well frosted on Liberty's head and this produces a semi-cameo appearance. Lot 1096		1852-D. PCGS graded MS-61. Boldly struck and needle sharp. Clash marks as struck on both sides which are commonly seen on this issue. Only a single die pair was used to create this modest mintage. High grade examples, like this coin, are always in high demand when they cross the auction block. A gorgeous coin!
