Lindbergh, Charles: Legendary Aviator, Autographed First Edition Biography of His Father and by Author. Legendary aviator Charles Lindbergh signed copy of Lindbergh of Minnesota, a political biography of his father written by Bruce L. Larson. New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1973 336 pp. The book chronicles the political views of Lindbergh's father, a Republican congressman from Minnesota. Lindbergh and the author both sign the title page, with Lindbergh boldly signing ''Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr.'' in fountain pen and black ink below the book's author, Bruce L. Larson, who signed in blue ballpoint. Hardcover book is bound in blue cloth boards and has original, unclipped dust jacket. First day issue stamps and cancels on the half title and title page from 1974 of flights to Charles, IA from Hawaii where Lindbergh lived until his death. Pages also have stamps with cancels celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Lindbergh's flight celebrated in 1977. Excellent condition and tailored for collectors of historic aviation. Rare Airship Hindenburg, American Airlines Inc. Luggage Sticker Sandwiched Between Thick Lucite for Optimum Presentation. Rare Airship Hindenburg/American Airlines baggage sticker in mint condition. 5 x 4" original decal is from 1936 and features both the Hindenburg airship and and an American Airlines Douglas Sleeper Transport. American advertised "World-Wide Air Service" from 57 cities in the United States to destinations around the world, via American Airlines to Lakehurst, Hindenburg to Frankfurt, and connections on Deutsche Lufthansa, Imperial Airways, KLM, and Air France. This original and mint example is presented in a 4 x 6 x 1" lucite block. However block is split into two halves, 4 x 6 x ½" with the sticker centered and then halves screwed together, making for a superb presentation piece or paper weight. A must for collectors of early 20th Century aviation.

Rare, Original Aviation Medallions from the Early 20th Century. Rare, Original Early Aviation Medals -- A 1913 Military Aviation Medal, A 1922 Medal For Louis Peyret, and a 1928 Medal Honoring Dr. Hugo Eckener. A 1913 bronze aviation medal to Emile Harel for Military Aviation, presented by the Aéro-Club de France. A sole angel appears on the obverse with the inscription "À Emile Harel - Aviation Militaire 1913"; on the reverse, an angel points over the shoulder of a female figure with a globe at her feet; a zeppelin can be seen in the sky and a beacon. "Aéro-Club de France" is at top edge. Size: 33mm. Medal in original box.

A 1922 silver medal to Louis Peyret, designer of the Peyret Tandem or Peyret Alérion, a French single seat glider of tandem wing configuration.The medal features a zeppelin and a hot air balloon with "Aero-Club de Belgique. À M. Peyret 7/12/22" on one side; on the reverse is a scene by sculptor G. Devreese of a woman in flowing robes with a naked young man who reaches up to the sky where a small plane can be seen. The woman has a hand on the young man's shoulder, and a bird perches on her other outstretched hand. Size: 3½ x 1 7/8" (88 x 45mm). Medal in original box.

Two pages of handwritten notes in the hand of German/US rocket pioneer, Dr. Hans Hosenthein while at Germany's wartime A4 (V-2) rocket development center, with COA and history by Ken Havekotte. Also two small pieces of the captured German V-2 rocket that was test-fired in White Sands, NM in 1946 recovered from the tail fin assembly with permission while on display in Las Cruces, NM, with COA by Ken Havekotte. Chuck Yeager: Fantastic Photo and Commemorative Stamp Block Presentation, Two Autographs. If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing. (born 1923, 96 years of age). Chuck Yeager is a former United States Air Force officer, flying ace, and record-setting test pilot. In 1947, he became the first pilot confirmed to have exceeded the speed of sound in level flight. Offered is a fantastic presentation, having two Yeager autographs. One is a photo of Yeager squatting in front of a stealth bomber, inscribed and signed "Jim Good Luck Chuck Yeager." The other is a block of 32 cent commemorative stamps of his first supersonic flight, very boldly signed across the sheet "Chuck Yeager." First Atomic Bomb Test: Three Scarce Trinitite Fragments in Two Sealed Containers, With One Container in Shadow Box Presentation. Three pieces of original Trinitite from the world's first atomic bomb test are included in two double-sealed clear plastic containers (1½ x 1½ ¾"). On July 16, 1945 the first Atomic bomb was detonated at the Trinity site in the New Mexico desert. The blast generated a temperature of 10 million degrees Fahrenheit and the intense heat melted the desert sand into grey-green, glass-like substance which is now known as Trinitite. While it is no longer legal to acquire from the original site, small amounts collected prior to the restriction are legal to own. The sealed container with two samples of Trinitite is presented in a shadow box presentation. The single but larger specimen is presented in original sealed case. Dramatic artifacts from the beginning of the Atomic age. Both sealed samples convey with COA s by Edward Humphreys. Scarce. Estimate Value $250 - UP
