1851-O. NGC graded MS-66. Frosty and mostly untoned, with satin smooth surfaces and elegant eye appeal. The strike is sharp and the eye appeal abundant on this desirable New Orleans ssiue. 1851-O. PCGS graded MS-65. Lightly toned with flecks of deeper russet hues over satiny silver and well struck. The surfaces are pleasing with no handling marks to distract the eye, and the only fault we note is a missing tiny planchet flake located at the top of the center I on the reverse in the denomination. 1852. PCGS graded MS-67. CAC. PQ. The obverse is bathed in satiny luster and mint frost, with tinges of golden accents and a few patches of pale blue toning. The reverse is well matched and equally gorgeous. Free of handling marks, and as well preserved as one could hope to find for these imporant coins. One of the best we have ever seen. A frosty Gem.
