  1803 C-4 R4 PCGS VF Details Cleaned. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel. There is no evidence of chemical cleaning but there are numerous microscopic hairlines on both sides suggesting an overly vigorous brushing. A small chip on the jaw near the ear lobe is the only notable mark. EDS with the reverse properly oriented head-to-foot. Our grade is net F12. Estimate Value $150 - UP

1804 C-12 R2 Crosslet 4, Stemless NGC graded MS64 Brown. Lustrous steel brown and chocolate. Satiny mint frost covers this piece and the eye appeal is excellent. Looks flawless to the unaided eye but a glass reveals a few microscopic ticks at TY in LIBERTY, a tiny nick near the dentils before the mouth, and a small spot of dirt at the upper edge of the ribbon loop. MDS with die clashmarks on the obverse and tiny rim cuds at ICA. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimate Value $2,000 - UP

1805 C-1 R2- Stemless Wreath NGC graded MS64 Brown. Frosty steel brown and olive with golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas and this piece has excellent eye appeal. Nearly void of contact marks or other defects. A small nick over the E in CENT and a spot of lighter tan toning at the dentils right of the second S in STATES can help identify this piece. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with a rim cud break covering 5 dentils at the second A in AMERICA. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP

1805 C-3 R4 Small 5 with Stems PCGS Fine Detail Damage. Glossy steel brown and chocolate blending to darker chocolate brown in protected areas. Most of the planchet is smooth but there is a spot of corrosion at the end of the hair ribbon and spots of roughness on the upper half of the reverse. LDS, Manley state 2.0. with obvious swelling in the field before the portrait. The date is strong and the legends are clear. Our grade is net VG8. The Small 5, Stems variety is noted on the PCGS label. Estimate Value $1,750 - UP

1806 C-2 R4 Small 6 with Stems PCGS graded AU55+. Frosty light olive and bluish steel with faint peeps of very faded mint color showing in a couple protected places. Nicely struck with excellent eye appeal, just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices. No spots or stains, and the only marks are a few faint hairline scratches on the cheek and two more in the field before the face. MDS, Manley state 2.0. There are die clashmarks at RT in LIBERTY but no die cracks. Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF45+ for the faint hairlines. A very nice example of the Small 6 with Stems type. PCGS population 1; 5 in 58, 1 in 62, 1 in 63. Estimate Value $4,000 - UP
