Quoting the Scott Specialized catalog, "Photo of wash drawing of frame design of ship vignette….Ms "Changed to 10¢" and "Approved Oct 11, 1912. Frank N. Hitchcock. Postmaster General" on (gray) backing card." This essay depicts the steam ship that was moved to the 10¢ value while the issued 2¢ received the City Carrier design.
