Antique Silver Mount British Flintlock Box Lock Pistol Rea Royal Exchange, London ca. 1780. An antique silver-mounted flintlock box-lock pistol marked for Rea, Royal Exchange, London. The silver hallmarks include makers mark for DB, attributed to David Blair, a silversmith in Birmingham. The pistol has a brass barrel, and a brass border engraved action. The inscription on the left reads ’Rea, Royal Exchange" and "London" on the right, again within an elegant rococo ribbon. The top-strap is additionally decorated with a floral rococo emblem, and an engraved sliding trigger-guard safety-catch constructed of iron. The walnut butt has inlaid silver wire and small engraved flower heads within the scrollwork. The bas-relief butt-cap, cast in silver, shows an unmarked silver shield, and hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay office (anchor), plus two additional marks which strongly places this piece as late 18th century through early 19th century (1786 – 1821). It appears there was an association between David Blair, a registered silversmith and gunsmith at the time, with the gun shop of John and Thomas Rea family. Quite a handsome piece with only tiny scattered chips in handle 11.0" W x 4½" H x 1½" D. Estimate Value $800 - UP

Model 1867/97 Remington Military Rolling Block Rifle Made For Service Use In Denmark. The Remington Military Rolling Block Rifle was produced from the mid-1860s into the early 20th century. As this rifle has the crown stamped on hammer this is likely one of the original 42,000 rifles ordered by the Dutch and originally chambered for the 11.7x42 R rim fire cartridge. On You Tube, you can witness a gentleman firing this model. Rifle is 53" in length, stock has normal wear, nevertheless a fine patina, and trigger mechanism working. Sale in Continental US only. Rare Communist Bulgaria Officer's Naval Dagger. Original dagger and strap that belonged to a Bulgarian officer who served at National Navy during communist period 1960-70. Because the Bulgarian Navy was not at all large, such daggers are hard to find. This is the early model Bulgarian dagger known by the blue textile padding of belt and hangers. The latter 1970s model is with full leather belt. The early model dagger is known for it a bit more rough metal parts.
Blade is almost perfect and gleaming, the grip is simulated white ivory material centered on both sides with of brass geometric design with a five pointed star on pommel. Scabbard is leather with brass chape and locket with details of an anchor on one side and sailing ship on verso. Overall in excellent condition. Dagger is 13" long and scabbard is 9" long. 19th Century Ceremonial Sword From a Fraternal Organization Such as Knights of Columbus, Pythias, Old Fellows etc. Antique, 19th century ceremonial sword, very much modeled after swords of the Civil War, but these were not used in the field. This example most definitely showing its age but these are not all that easy to find.
Details have a five pointed star on one side of chape, metal scabbard, some celtic like details on the crossguard and a coat of arms and eagle on pommel. Condition is good with blade having oxidation and the grip is a bit loose. A modest amount of cleanng/restoration could have this looking swell. Interesting note is that many of these fraternal swords were modified by a domestic terrorist group in the early 20th century for their nefarious ceremonies by merely engraving their letters.

Original World War I Spanish Mauser Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard. WWI Spanish Mauser rifle bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet has a 16" blade, a checkered wood grip, leather scabbard with steel fittings. Blade is marked Artelerria Toledo on the ricasso, serial number 54964 and the scabbard does have some damage near the chape. Still very good condition and know, bayonet has been sharpened sometime in the past so caution when handling. Overall length is 21½". Estimate Value $200 - UP
