1806. Overton-115, Rarity 1. PCGS graded MS-62. Wonderful even old time toning of deep lilac and blue spanning both sides, with traces of luster in the fields. The strike is sharp, particularly on Liberty's hair curls and the eagle's wing feathers. A plentiful die pairing, but precious few can even approach the quality of this lovely mint state example. There's a touch of deeper tone at the date and a tiny dark toning speck at the left upper point of the reverse shield, and this will serve to identify this elegant specimen.
