Disney Collectibles: 1935 Donald Duck Storybook, 1938 Authorized Snow White Story Book & Disney World Railroad Valve Cover. For the Walt Disney enthusiast two vintage storybooks and a relic from Walt Disney World, 1.) From Whitman Publishing Company, "donald duck" copyright 1935 by Walt Disney Enterprises Inc. Hollywood, California. 13 x 9½" a fun story of a strikingly different looking Donald Duck being pranked by Mickey's nephews at the watering hole. In good condition, outer cover missing. Pages are quite bright and colorful, one medium sized spot of toning, some discreet repairs, but given its 83 years in age, nice. 2.) From 1938 by Walt Disney Enterprises, a linen finished authorized story book by Walt Disney's landmark production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Again 13 x 9½" in very good condition with some soiling to front and back covers but the gorgeous and colorful illustrations inside are bright and quite clean. 3.) Disney World Railroad teal and red valve cover. Information on this is not available but we can only assume it is not a part of the actual train but likely somewhere near the grounds. 6 x 5½" made of steel and painted teal with raised letters highlighted by hand in red paint clearly spelling out DISNEY WORLD RAILROAD. Disney: Bambi and Thumper and Watercolor Sketch. Large 14 x 17" original pencil and watercolor art of Bambi and Thumper from the 1942 animated classic BAMBI. The sketch, based on the paper, toning (and the condition of the frame and glass when originally framed) must be from the 1960s and is signed "C Sáinz" in lower right corner and came from the collection of a well-known collector of Hollywood ephemera. Searching the last name came up with many possibilities but nothing definitive if the artist worked for studio merchandise or licensed publications. What is without question is this is a lovely piece, extremely well rendered, colorful and playful. Toning to far right and left sides due to toning from cardboard backing when originally framed, an issue easily resolved with a new acid-free mat and backing. Estimate Value $125 - UP

Walt Disney's 101 Dalmations, Cruella de Vil, Two Original Production Cel Levels Over Reproduction Background. Original, two cel production set from the 1961 Walt Disney animated classic, 101 DALMATIONS. Directed by Disney animation legend, Wolfgang "Woolie" Reitherman, one of Disney's "Nine Old Men" (Originally the nine men who proved Disney's core animators spanning decades) 101 DALMATIONS, was based on a story from the mid-1950s involving the kidnapping of puppies by one of the all time great villains Cruella de Vil. Marc Davis (another of the "Nine Old Men") was the sole animator on Cruella De Vil. During production, Davis claimed the character was partly inspired by Bette Davis, Rosalind Russell, Tallulah Bankhead and voice actress, Betty Lou Gerson. Offered is a highly desirable original two cel production set up from the film featuring de Vil in her distinct automobile. Production numbers are in lower right corner of cels, de Vil #2 and the car appears to be #18. Cels measure 12 ½x 15 and are in very fine condition with one tiny flake at edge of car hood. Villains of Disney animation prove the most in demand. Estimate Value $1,200 - UP

Walt Disney's Jungle Book; Two Original Production Cel Levels on Reproduction Background. One of the most popular of all Walt Disney animated films, THE JUNGLE BOOK premiered in the Fall of 1967 boasting one of the greatest celebrity voice casts at the time including Phil Harris, Sebastian Cabot, Louis Prima, George Sanders and Sterling Holloway. Director Wolfgang Reitherman did not have to look far for a young boy to voice Mowgli, he cast his son, Bruce. This was the last film to be produced by Walt Disney and was released only 10 months after his death and proved a massive success with one of its song "Bare Necessities" being nominated for an Oscar. Here is Mowgli with his singing buzzard friends reportedly an homage to the Beatles, Buzzie = Ringo, Flaps = Paul, Dizzy = George and Ziggy = John. Mowgli is painted on one cel, the buzzards on a second with a reproduction background. There are two sets of staple holes on the very edge of both sheets of acetate that in no way distract from the set up. No flaking or cracking in evidence, colors perfect. Unframed, measure 10 x 12" and in excellent condition. Estimate Value $1,400 - UP
