David Webb (1925-1975) was the quintessential American jeweler whose creations adorned the most famous women of the 20th Century and whose design inspirations continue with his two flagship boutiques on Madison Avenue in New York and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. In this signature piece, large open links of 18K yellow gold are each "tied" together with ribbons of 128 colorless brilliant cut pave diamonds (F color, VVS1-VVS2) set in platinum totaling 12¾ carats. Mounted on the bracelet as a single charm is a Mexican 50 peso gold coin in simple bezel dated 1929 and in very fine condition. We have been asked if the peso could be easily and permanently removed by an accomplished jeweler and the answer is most definitely leaving the option to wear the coin as a pendant. One charm boasts a floral design of a violet bloom with heart-shaped, amethyst petals tiny diamond center, the second is an abstract tree accented with a sapphire, emerald, two rubies and a small pearl, and the third is a locket that opens set with a round blue spinel. One of the most remarkable pieces of jewelry we have handled is this 19th century lady's mourning brooch in excellent condition. Black enamel is intact on 18K gold with clusters of rose cut, old european cut and mine cut diamonds that total just at 5 carats but SI1- SI2 and color H on the center 5 diamonds the others are dark. For contemporary devotees of antique jewelry black cloth ribbons (these are new) are easily removed from prongs on verso leaving one of the most unusual and lovely brooches possible. Lot 476		Beautiful 19th Century 18K Gold and Enamel Locket with Emeralds and Sapphire. Elegant and beautifully hand made 19th century 18K gold locket that can be worn as a pendant or a brooch. Floral motif executed in blue, red and green enamel surrounded by small 18K "gold blossoms" accented with 5 small emeralds at the bottom and a single emerald at top. At the center of locket panel is a single prong set sapphire. Lock and hinge remain tight, and when opened can accommodate a photo 1¼ x 1". Lot 478		Gene Autry's Vintage 14K Yellow Gold and Turquoise Player Piano Cufflinks That Play Music. Handsome, vintage, 14K yellow gold and turquoise cufflinks once owned by Western star Gene Autry. Cufflinks look like tiny player pianos, but the wonderful surprise is that they actually play music. Inside each are tiny music boxes by Swiss maker Colibri each playing a different minuet. One winds just a tiny bit, pulls the stem and the cufflinks play. Push stem in and the music stops. 9 tiny turquoise cabochon convey piano keys and the player piano rolls with each cufflinks measuring ¾ x 1". Lot 479		Lady's Pair of Diamond and 14K Yellow Gold Stud Earrings Each 3¼ Carats. Striking pair of lady's (or his and hers) 14K gold stud earrings each 3¼ carats. These studs are from Kesslers Diamonds, well known for their Yehuda diamonds. Yehuda clarity enhanced diamonds are natural diamonds mined from the earth just like any other genuine diamond. They contain natural inclusions that are visible to the naked eye after being cut.
