Photorgaphers, Late 1800s. Politicians, Lawyers and Society Swells. Archive of 6½" x 4¼" cabinet cards, most from photography studios in Boston, New York and Washington DC of professionals, politicians and high society swells. Almost all are identified on verso, governors, deans of colleges, the entire spectrum of upper class individuals, male and female. Many dated in the 1870s. A remarkable look back in time at the styles and faces so dramatically different today, perfect for reference study. We had 5 lots of these vintage original photographs in our last auction which all proved very popular for collectors. In this auction, the remaining two lots from the original collection have been made available which completes their sale. Overall in excellent condition. Estimate $200 - 400
