1922 Grant with Star. PCGS graded MS-66. Very lightly toned with a touch of taupe over lustrous fields. Boldly struck on Grant and his birthplace reverse, with excellent separation on the roof shingles. One of only 12 so graded by PCGS, with a single coin graded higher, making this one of the very Finest Known of this rare With Star issue, and long sought-after as one of the true rarities in high grade of the entire Commemorative Silver series. An opportunity for the condition conscious buyer.

1928 Hawaiian. PCGS graded MS-64. Unusually nice for the issue, most have rather milky yellow toning, not so here, this one more organized with gold at the periphery, and atop some of the devices. Lustrous and nearly a gem piece. Well struck throughout and worthy of a gem set.

Lot 543
1928 Hawaiian. NGC graded MS-64. Seldom found this nice, this particular issue has more than its share of difficulties in surviving in choice or gem condition. Here is a pleasant exception, with only a few minor tick marks, and lovely peripheral toning. Lustrous and desirable for the clean fields, pleasant color and strong strike.
