Project Gemini: Two Cans, 40 Rolled Strips of 70mm Original NASA Film Photos of Views of Earth From Space. A most unusual collection found in two vintage Eastman Kodak film cans. These are 70mm rolls of original NASA film photos taken on flights starting with Gemini V - Gemini XI, each marked what mission and which camera magazine. Some do have leaders that indicate the day taken, which also confirms which flights photos are taken. Impossible to unroll all the pieces of film and count how many images of Earth this collection contains, but know it's a large number. Many collectors/dealers take one 70mm film frame and mount in a presentation where the light can shine through and reveal the sky-blue-and-white gem we call home. 40 rolled pieces of film two over an inch thick. A fine trove from the historic Gemini Missions in 1965-1966. Estimate Value $600 - UP
