Lot 4945
Fr-2056-G*. 1934-B, $20 Federal Reserve Note. . Fr-2056-G*. PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ. A nice near-Gem example of this scarce star note Fed. The Gem grade is prevented only by the centering being slightly low on the face and by a small counting smudge at the bottom center.
Estimated Value $650 - 850.

Lot 4946
Fr-2056-B. 1934-B, $20 Federal Reserve Note. Back Plate #204 Changeover Pair. . Fr-2056-B. Two consecutive notes, both graded PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. This unusual changeover pair is one of a consecutive run of notes, the first a sixth consecutive bearing the late finished back plate number 204, and the next a seventh in the run but this one with the regular back (plate number 455, for interested researchers). It is unlikely that too many of these exist, and competition for this pair should be intense among small size FRN specialists. Lot of 2 notes.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,250.
The Brooklyn Collection.

Fr-2056-B. 1934-B, $20 Federal Reserve Note. Back Plate #204. . Fr-2056-B. PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ. The first in a remarkable run of six consecutively numbered examples, each with the late finished back plate number 204. This rarity is not seen often in any grade, much less in high Uncirculated grades. Likely to be popular with small size FRN specialists, and an offering that isn't likely to be duplicated in the near future.
Estimated Value $450 - 650.
